Keep going, this isn't time to give up. Slowing down is just fine, a sideways step or even a step back is okay - just keep up your momentum and keep moving. Remember that the more we do something, the more energy, focus and attention we allow to flow to something, the more it will expand, the faster it will grow.

If you are starting a new idea, skill, hobby, study - wonderful! What an exciting time! If it feels hard or if you has lost your 'mojo' (as my husband says), tread gently with yourself, there is no need to tell yourself all the things you haven't achieved yet, or said you were going to do, but didn't. Tell yourself, out loud if you can, that you are doing a wonderful job, that you are capable and precious and worthy of what you are doing.

Perfectionism can sometimes get in the way of us starting something as we become so pre-occupied with the result that we forget to release ourselves from the pressure. When we just start, so does the energy flow. Momentum builds and it will become that much more enjoyable for your heart.

I feel this card is reminding us of the importance of embracing our own personal practice; spiritual, self care, nourishment - whatever you want to call it. Give yourself some time each day to take care of you. This could be simple breathing exercises, going for a walk, meditation, yoga, your own card reading. There will be something you just know sets your day up beautifully. The more we give energy and attention to this practice, the more we 'practice' the practice, the more easy we will flow to it and refuse to neglect this beautiful part of ourselves.
